Fruity Balti Beef Curry

  • 700g Beef (blade or chuck steak)
  • 2-3 tbsp Extra Virgin Avocado Oil
  • 4 cloves Garlic, crushed
  • 2 med Onions, chopped
  • 1 bottle Maharajah Chutney
  • 2 tsp Balti Curry Paste, mild or hot
  • 1 tin Tomatoes
  • 1 tsp Garam Masala
  • 200ml Beef Stock or water

Your choice of condiments:-
Sweet Mango Chutney, Absolutely Apricot Chutney...

Chop beef into cubes.  In a large pan heat the oil and cook the onions until done.  Add the beef and garlic and brown.  Stir through the Balti Curry Paste and Garam Masala and fry for 5 mins.  Add the tomatoes, Maharajah Chutney, stock, cover and slowly cook for 1 & 1/2 - 2 hours until meat is tender.  Serve on Basmati Rice with fresh coriander to taste.
